a journal of creative expression

Welcome to the newest Aries web site!

Aries is an international literary magazine, published annually at Texas Wesleyan University.  Original, unpublished poetry (including poetry written in Spanish and translated), short fiction, one-act plays, black and white photography, and art are showcased in the journal.

Established in 1986, Aries celebrates 20 years of artistic expression and creativity.  The journal receives over five hundred submissions each year to consider for publication.  Aries is produced each spring by a panel of five associate editors and Dr. Stacia Neeley, General Editor, Internship Coordinator, and Associate Professor of English.
