Aries is published annually by 4-5 student associate editors at Texas Wesleyan University. The students who comprise the Editorial Board are selected by the General Editor, Dr. Stacia Neeley, based on their scholastic achievements, a writing sample, and seniority at Wesleyan.
As editors, the students receive 3 hours of advanced English credit, and the experience of participating in the publication process.
Students are involved in every step of the process. From reviewing the hundreds of submissions to determining the layout of the journal, the student editors have input and control over almost all aspect of the publishing process. In so doing, the students are given the unique opportunity of exploring artistic, literary, and business worlds in a learning environment, whilst producing a publication that has an international audience.
